Enlarging a photo
-
Yesterday I was able to click on a photo and change the size of the photo from within the post. There were two buttons that appeared on the photo in post. one to edit and one to delete the photo. Those buttons have disappeared. How do i enlarge a photo now?

There are a couple of ways to edit images on WordPress. To edit size, go into the Edit Post (or Edit Page) screen, select the Visual option, click on the image to highlight it and two buttons will appear. Click on the left button for Edit Image. That’s probably the option you are referring to.
You can also go into your Media Library to view and edit images, though there are different options such as scale and crop. A rule of thumb; if you are thinking of enlarging an image once it’s been inserted to a Post, it’s sometimes better to delete the image from the post and go back and work with an original before reinserting it.

Unfortunately, that was part of the problem. My visual editor has DISAPPEARED. There are no edit buttons on the photos any longer when you click them and my editor panel is totally diffrerent. I read online, after researching for about an hour, this was a common issue and to change browsers. It worked. My Visual Editor is restored in IE, but still missing in Chrome. Its driving me nuts, but I guess I will just toggle between them until I lose the Visual Editor in IE as well.
