ensuring domain registered wordpress.com is renewed properly

  Hello,
  On July 5, 2014, I registered a domain for 3 years via wordpress.com. I am attempting to renew its domain registration, and am unable to do so. I can not find an option in Manage Purchases so that I may find an option to renew this particular domain. Please advise soonest as the domain expires on July 6th, 2017. I am not sure whether I chose auto-renew and can not find an option to renew. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of the domain, stemexcel.org? It appears that the subscription for that domain was mistakenly removed from your account. It didn’t affect the domain itself, as it’s still registered, but it prevents you from managing it.

  I’ve restored the missing subscription, so you should now see the domain on your Purchases page.

  Let me know if you have any trouble renewing it.

  Hello yes, you are right, it was for the domain, stemexcel.org.

  Thank you for restoring the missing subscription. However, I still lack the option of conducting a renewal. I get a notice on the dashboard that the domain is about to expire and that I should renew, but when I click the option to renew it puts me in a click circle where I end up back at the dashboard.

  Please, I require your help soonest to renew this domain which expires after tomorrow.

  Please let me know how I may proceed to renew with your assistance. Thanks so much.

  This is likely due to the fact that I had to manually restore the subscriptions. I’ve made an adjustment on our end. Can you please try again?

  If it still won’t work, let me know, but you can also relax – domains aren’t cancelled the moment they expire, so we still have time to get this sorted out :)
