Entered Wrong Email At Registration

    Hello,

    I entered the wrong email while setting up my account and now cannot log in as the account requires activation.
    Incorrect account: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    Correct account: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Any assistance is much appreciated!!!

    When you log into your WP Admin Dashboard here: http://zmartant.wordpress.com/wp-admin, do you get this prompt http://d.pr/i/hqOZ? If so, then you should be able to correct your address by clicking Send to another email address.

    You can also change your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.

    Hi Darnell,

    I am not having an issue with the zmartant account, rather I was creating a new account.

    The email for the account I am having issue with is (email visible only to moderators and staff), due to the error of my typing, I type w instead of an e for mpoole and now the account is in limbo. I cannot activate the account because I cannot log in and I cannot log in because the email is incorrect and the activation link is sent to an incorrect email address.

    Is there a possibility that you can correct the email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff) so that I can obtain the activation link?

    See if you can log in now. We’ve been having issues with users receiving their confirmation emails, so let me know if you don’t receive one at your correctly spelled email address, and I’ll assist you further.
