Entered Wrong Email At Registration

  I’m a bit of an idiot. Hopefully you can help me.

  I was creating a new account (the one in the “Site address”) but I put the wrong email address (out of the blue Tumblr nuked my account and I’m still fuming so I typed @tumblr.com instead of @gmail.com) so I can’t receive an activation email.

  Bu then! I remembered I already had an account with the very same email I wanted to use to create the account.

  I log in with my email but when I try to create a blog with the username of the botched account creation (the one in the “Site address”) , the username is reserved.

  Is it possibile to remove my botched account creation so that the username is free to use again and I can create a new blog with address in the “Site address”?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  With regards to http://emajyo.wordpress.com/ – are you able to log in on that account using the username (or email address) and password that you selected on setting up the account? It should let you log in even if not verified yet.

  If so, then you can change the email address listed in https://wordpress.com/me/account to a third email address (not the same as associated with this account; each WordPress.com account needs a unique email address). That would then let you receive the verification email to confirm your account!

  Hi! Thanks for your reply. Yes, I solved my problem with Tumblr.

  With regards to http://emajyo.wordpress.com/, I tried what you suggested but I cannot login.

  When I try to login I get an error message that says:

  “This account hasn’t been activated yet — check your email for a message from WordPress.com and click the activation link. You’ll be able to log in after that.”
