Entering A Post

When I open the Write/CreatePost, I have no room to enter a post. The space where you actually type and enter text has gradually shrunk to where it is non-existent on Code and very little on Visual. It’s impossible to create and edit.

Do you mean you actually can’t put your cursor there, or the box has become noticably smaller? Because those are two different problems. If you can’t place your cursor in the box at all, send a Feedback to staff. If the box has just changed size, go to the Options and change the settings for the size of the post box. It may take some time to update.

Both actually …. the problem is worse in Firefox than in IE. I can’t put a cursor in the box in the Code feature at all and barely in the Visual but can’t follow what I am typing.

I am using FireFox 2.0.0.3 and I get a small triangle with lines at the bottom right of the post box when on the Visual tab. I can then stretch it down to increase the box size. It does not show up when i click on the Code tab though. Not sure if you get this as well, but it helps. Try a CTRL-F5 when on the Write Post page if you don’t see it. I hope this helps you.

That seems to have helped for the time being. I did receive an email to let me know that Support is also examining the problem. CTRL+F5 didn’t do anything but that triangle helped. It automatically expanded the Code window as well.

Dashboards -> options -> Writing -> “Size of the post box” Can you tell us what you’ve got in there please? I have 10 which works when I have to use the editor.
