entering credit card information
-
I’ve been added as administrator for our blog and now wish to renew our credit Card details in order to continue mapping our blog bmspeak.wordpress.com to bmspeak.businssmann.dk.
Logging in, I can see it needs upgrading, but there is no button with ‘enter credit Card details’ or ‘upgrade now’.My colleague can do this, but all administrators need to be able to do this, so it gets done – even if this colleague stops working for us…
please advice :-)Kind regards,

I believe that the way it works is that the person who made the original purchase is the only person who can renew unless staff change it. You are doing exactly the right thing in changing this now before your college leaves as I remember in similar situations staff needing authorisation from the person who purchased the upgrade.
I’ll flag this for staff attention so they can sort this out for you. Please be patient as staff are busy and it could take a while for them to reach this thread.

Upgrades on WordPress.com are owned by users, and not by sites or organizations. So from that standpoint, there is no way to have that appear for all users, but can be transferred to any users account.
So, with that in mind, what I usually recommend is designating one user account as the “corporate account” for the site. It can be an existing user, or you can create a new user account which everyone has access to, and can manage upgrades from.
You can create a new account here, and then invite that user to your site: https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1
From there, I can help move the upgrades from the account they are on to whatever account you want to be your corporate user account.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi staff-totoro
Thanks for the advice – I’ve now created a corporate account, which I would like for you to transfer all billings / upgrades etc. to.
Please transfer to this user account:

I have sent you a private message regarding your inquiry, and it will arrive at the email address here in your user settings:
https://wordpress.com/settings/account/
Note: This is for the account you are speaking to me on, not the new one you have created!
Please check your inbox and if you don’t see it, also be sure to look in your spam folder.
