Entering International Characters in a Blog Post
-
How can I enter international characters for typing words in German and Spanish? I have tried the key combinations that are used for MS Word (for instance, “ctrl-single quote” followed by a letter gives you that letter with an accent mark) and they don’t work. A link to a FAQ would be appreciated.

the semi-colon at the end of each “tag”)Or this one, also use the text editor to insert these characters:

When you choose a language for your blog, that dictates which alphabet you can use for that blog. If you want to type in all three of those languages, you’ll have to choose a language for your blog which contains all of the various letters and accents, and I don’t think there is one.

I have no experience with WindowsLiveWriter because I’m on a Mac, but you might investigate if it would show accent marks and punctuation for Spanish and Germain in a Word-like way:

The second tip makes it even easier–it works perfectly using Word. Thanks again for your help.
