Entering tags…

  Before I can complete entering tags, the system ends my entry. Is there any step I can take to complete the entering of tags? I have been publishing and then doing an edit to complete that step.

  Hi there, so I understand better what you mean – are you finding that the entire post is saved/closed when you’re trying to enter tags? Or are you finding that when entering a tag for a post, the tag is truncated as it “sets” prematurely?

  Would you be able to share examples of tags you were trying to add?

  The tags entry field goes away, and I do not see a way to get back to entering the rest of my planned tags. So, I publish my post and then View it, so I can hit the Edit, and finish entering the balance of my tags.

  It is like there is a timing on entering tags, and I’m not fast enough to put them all in.

  Thanks for this. Are you starting your posts with https://wordpress.com/post ?

  And, if you start a draft and tag that, then only save the draft, are the tags still missing from it? We’d love to take a look at an example post if you’re willing to share.
