entire blog missing
-
I went to log in to my blog this morning to do my weekend writing posts and the entire thing is just gone! The layout, the months worth of posts….gone! When I click a link for last weeks post it takes me to a page that says this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/earthspi/public_html/wp/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 1276
I put a lot of work into my blog and a lot of people visit it. Where is all of my stuff???
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It sounds like the site is probably still there but an error in one of the files is preventing the site from showing up temporarily.
The parse error you mentioned indicates you are using a self-hosted WordPress.org setup and there is a problem either with one of the WordPress files or with some content being parsed by that file. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so further support questions in your case should be posted at http://wordpress.org/support/
Based on that error alone, it’s hard to say what the problem could be but the first step I would recommend would be to replace the wp-includes/formatting.php file with a fresh one from http://wordpress.org/ (make sure you get the one matching your exact install version) or download and re-install all of the WordPress.org files in your setup. If you are not sure how to do this, you can try asking your web host to see if they are able to help you with that or post as much detail as possible (including your WP version) at http://wordpress.org/support/

Good luck!
