  Your theme (Entre) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. Hi, how do i do an update. My site is extremely slow to load, update and add new content

  Hi there,

  We don’t have a theme named that on WordPress.com and neither does WooCommerce.com (to my knowledge).

  To get help with that theme you need to contact their author.

  Also, for support regarding WooCommerce, you need to post in these forums:

  https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce

  Thanks for the reply. The person who built my site cannot be contacted and i don’t know the theme author so i am happy to have another theme but if i activate a new WordPress theme will all my content, shop and payment gateway be copied over automatically?

  If not do WordPress offer a service to do this?

  Sorry quick to reply, just noticed your site builder add.

  If i go ahead and choose a theme can you copy over the content from my existing page? or do i have to re submit it all?

  Themes only change how the site looks, they don’t affect your content in any way. :)

  Ok, thanks. I have a selection of themes attached to my dashboard so i will load one and see what happens

  I have loaded theme Twenty Twenty-one and have been able to change the background colour and add a new title but am unable to to make any layout changes, or i don’t understand how to make changes.
  Do you offer a service to make changes and clean up the pages.
  I looked at it on a family members mobile and the pages seem to be showing code, like they are in edit mode.

  Let me just clarify one thing, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

  You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:

  https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.

  That said, if you’d like to use our service, you’d need to move your site over here. Since you already have it hosted elsewhere, you probably wouldn’t want to do that.

  Support for sites like yours can be found at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/, or if it’s something related directly to WooCommerce https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/.
