Entries disappeared due to domain mapping – can I get them back?
-
I just purchased domain mapping so that seanbusher.wordpress.com shows up at blog.seanbusher.com. It seems all my blog entries for the last 9 months have somehow disappeared, however. Can I get those entries back!???

When I visit your site, I’m able to see 32 posts that you’ve published. Can you let me know what you’re seeing instead?

Those 32 post are there for me too, but it doesn’t show all my posts since April 1, 2010.
I believe that same issue was happening before by some weird quirk… When I’d view in Safari or go to seanbusher.wordpress.com I’d see only the 32 posts, but when I’d go to blog.seanbusher.com (when I was cloaking using my old server) I’d see everything until the present. Now both links only show the entries since April. :(

Your account shows as having been registered in May 2010, but I’m able to see your posts from April 1 onward. Can you let me know about how many posts are missing? Are they missing from certain months or is it random?
Prior to buying the domain mapping upgrade, how were you connecting blog.seanbusher.com to your WordPress.com site? If you had WordPress installed on your server, is it possible that some of the posts were published there, rather than on your WordPress.com blog?

That was it, thank you! We’re now using a new server for that particular website and had to point back to when it was installed on our server. Whew, thanks!
