Hi there,
It looks like you recently cancelled your domain purchase at WordPress.com for the domain chance2dance.nl. The domain is no longer registered at WordPress.com. This means that the domain will be returned to the registrar, but unfortunately, it might take several days or longer before it’s available to register it again for your self-hosted site.
There are two potential routes going forward:
1. I can reach out to the registrar and try to restore the domain to your WordPress.com account. This way, you could use it immediately with your self-hosted site by changing the name servers as described here:
Then, after 60 days, you could transfer the domain as explained here:
2. Alternatively, if you would like, you can wait for the domain to become available again and re-register it. Like I explained above, this could take several weeks or longer.
Let me know how you would like to proceed!

Thank you for your quick reply.
Fact is that I already re-purchased the domain so its in my WP again…the guide shows an other view then I get on my screen…
I don’t have these options I only can choose:
1
2In the controlpanel from my hosting I can not enter my WordPress to edit.
i can not enter name servers

Hi there,
You recently purchased the domain mapping upgrade. This isn’t the same as the domain registration. The mapping upgrade is for users that already own a domain elsewhere and want to use it with their WordPress.com blog. The domain is no longer registered at WordPress.com.
The difference between registration and mapping is described here:
Would you like me to reach out to the registrar to attempt to get your domain reinstated back to your WordPress.com account? If successful, I would then send over a payment request for €21.00 (the cost of the domain) since your original payment was refunded.

I would like to take the domain, to the my hosting provider…how can I do that fast? I found it very difficult to link these things and that way it is much more expensive as well…I dont like that…
How can I move my choosen domain name to my host provider…or let it be availeble again…
I read that I need an EPP code…but this code is not t b found following the steps, your collueges reccomend…elswhere on this forum….

Hi!
You’re not seeing the option for the EPP code because as of right now, you no longer own the domain. The domain registration was cancelled on 9/25. I’ve reached out to the domain registrar to attempt to restore it back to your account so you can use it going forward. I’ll let you know as soon as I find out whether or not this is successful!

Sounds good! The domain is in the process of being returned to the registrar. It should become available again for registration elsewhere in the upcoming weeks!

Hi!
Once a domain is cancelled from WordPress.com, we have no control over when it becomes available again for registration. it looks like although the domain has been cancelled, the name servers are still pointed to WordPress.com. This is just an artifact from before it was cancelled.
The .nl domain registry is ultimately the final say as to when it gets released again for purchase. It could take 6-8 weeks or maybe even longer before you will be able to purchase the domain elsewhere.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
