  I need an EPP verification code to transfer my site over to another host company. Please help.

  An EPP code is for transferring a domain name purchased with one registrar to another registrar. Here’s more about that and how you obtain an EPP code for a domain you purchased from WordPressdotcom https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/

  If relevant for you, note that a domain name cannot be transferred between registrars within 60 days after initial registration.

  If you are still within that period or prefer not to transfer the domain to another registrar, you can continue using your custom domain name purchased here, but point the domain name servers to your new hosting service. Here’s more on that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/

  So, it still won’t allow me to transfer based on a privacy protection setting that is turned on. How do I turn off privacy protection? I’m guessing it’s something I opted for when I purchased the domain, but because of this, I’m not allowed to access the EPP authorization code.
