EPP code not working while connecting to an external domain
-
Hi there. I want to connect (NOT transfer) one of the WordPress pages I own to the external .eu domain. I was asked by WordPress to provide an EPP code to verify ownership of the domain. EPP codes for .eu domains are generated through the EURid service – I was directed there by the provider. The code is not working. I’m getting a message: Incorrect auth code provided for ownership verification of [domain name].eu. EURid support told me, that they don’t know what seems to be the issue, why WordPress is requesting the code, and how you even have access to their database to verify the code. Again, there’s NO OTHER code for the domain. I would really appreciate your support on the issue.

The domain got connected through chat support, but I’m leaving the thread open to inform WordPress about the issue, and provide possible solutions for others.

Thanks! It looks like this case may have been affected by the site having been previously connected. Not sure. But we’ll note this case in case it comes up again. Thanks!
