    I canceled my plan from wordpress after only a day. I want to transfer my domain name to another registrar but the new registrar cannot register it due to a transfer lock. I need to get a EPP code or transfer key from word press. How can I do that? Please help

    Hi there!

    The zionsrescue.org domain was canceled and refunded along with the plan. It sounds like you didn’t mean to cancel the domain? If not, let us know and we can issue you a payment link to pay for the domain again. After that, we can work to retrieve the domain.

    Please note that your domain must be at least 60 days old before you can transfer it away. If it’s a new domain, you can change the name servers instead.

    Do you mind sharing why you want to transfer the domain name? Did you find something about site building here that was difficult?

    I wanted to cancel the domain and transfer it to another registrar and hosting because I wanted to try other site builder sites. But now I decided to stay here. Can you please give a payment link to pay for the domain again?

    Hi there!

    If you’d like to use the domain with your WordPress.com site, you’ll want a WordPress.com plan, as a plan is required to set the domain as the primary address.

    I see you originally purchased the WordPress.com Business plan. If you upgrade to the Business plan again, I can restore the domain for you. You get a free domain credit for the first year with the annual plans, so I suggest making use of it. :)

    I want to restore just the domain for now. The site I am making is a nonprofit org website. I need a website where I can collect contact details of interested volunteers. My problem is, wordpress only allows a limited number of subscriptions or contacts and limited number of emails I can send. I need a website builder that has this feature. I want to create these steps using pages within wordpress but creating a single page in WordPress is difficult

    If you’re looking to collect contact details of volunteers, we have some great integration available.

    Upgrading to the Business plan would allow you access to MailPoet, which has the ability to capture information and craft newsletters using that information. There’s a little more on that right here: https://www.mailpoet.com/

    The Business plan also allows you to integrate Mailchimp, either as a block or a pop-up, and you can then collect their emails and send newsletters and related information. Our guide on that is right here: https://wordpress.com/support/mailchimp/

    I just did some further study and research. I will buy the full business Plan subscription again. Thanks for your help

    I need to make a regular website with some bit of complexity. For now I want to make it simple but am also considering the possibility of making this more complex in the future. I am giving this a try again
