EPP Code Request
-
Hi. I need to access my EPP code. I cannot access it through my wordpress dashboard because my site has already been transferred to Blue Host. It is my understanding that regardless of the transfer, WordPress still has this information.
My website is exposedbrickdc.com
Thanks,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can retrieve the EPP/Auth code using the steps at the link below:

Thank you for the quick response. I have looked that the article but unfortunately I am unable to follow those steps due to the fact that the transfer has already occurred. For example, I know longer have access to the WordPress “Store.” Im assuming a member of the staff will need to contact me directly?

You can access your domain manager by logging in at http://exposedbrickdc.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and following the steps outlined in the support document linked by timethief.

I got it! Thank you. Here is my next question. My domain is less than 60 days old so it sounds like I can’t transfer it yet. My real problem is with hosting. I am not satisfied with Blue Host’s server and want to switch to Host Gator. Should I follow steps under the change host drop down?

If you are changing your hosting, then you will need to update the nameservers to point to Hostgator, following the steps here:
You will need to wait for the 60 day window to expire before changing registrars; this is common for most domains regardless of registrar.
