erased original button

I believe I accidentally erased the original home button on my site and when I enter the site, it says that it can not show case properly an doerhaps I should search for the right topic. i just want to begin setting up the site all over again. Can I delete it and begin again or is there a process I can follow to reinstate the button.

By default the front page of your blog displays all posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. Read the differences between Pages and Posts.
