ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

When accessing my site using a custom domain and its HTTPS address, I get an SSL Warning. How do I update the cert so that I don’t get this warning?

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from [custom_domain_name] (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
This server could not prove that it is [custom_domain_name]; its security certificate is from *.wordpress.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection

Hi there,
For what site is this? https://blog.sonymcs.com/ does not show any errors for me.
If you’re typing https://www.blog.sonymcs.com/ you will see errors. That is expected and not something we can change. http://www.blog.sonymcs.com, without the https in front of it will work normally.
You never have to type “https://” at the start of a URL. Browsers add that automatically.

Yes, was able to get it working. The domain configuration ended being correct. The magic trick to get it to work was toggling the “primary domain” setting off and back on for the blog.sonymcs.com domain.
Thanks!
