Errant $17 charge
-
I am getting a $17 charge on my credit card. I believe this was for an account I setup for someone else. They called in last year and switched it to their own credit card. So I don’t know why I’m being charged still. Something must have gone wrong.
I would like you to please refund this charge. You will find it being charged to my name, and I believe it’s for the domain blog.vseeit.com (which doesn’t work anymore). As you can tell, that is not my Blog, so you shouldn’t be charging me for it.
The verification code is [redacted by mod]
Thanks!

Hi there,
We cannot reverse a renewal on a different account based on your claim that it went off from your card. I’ve sent you an email to request some information to verify that you are the card holder. Please reply there with the information and we can help you from there.

Hi There,
Here’s the information. This charge showed up on my credit card. As far as I can tell it’s NOT for my account (email visible only to moderators and staff).
24/11/2017 24/11/2017 [redacted] WORDPRESS 8772733049 CA $17.00
Please reverse the charge or I’ll need to begin the charge-back process with my credit card provider.
Thanks.

Hi @cgwatkins, I removed the transaction ID from this post (we consider it sensitive data). I was able to find the charge; it was for a site that is no longer on our servers. The charge was reversed today. Please allow a few business days for processing.
