Error 0004. Unable to load the image.

  Hi,
  several images in my blog are not appearing: http://sealinthefogblog.wordpress.com
  I moved from wordpress.org to wordpress.com. The images were appearing initially, but stop appearing completely last week. I can see the images in my media library and all the links seem fine.
  On the blog when clicking on these faulty images (that appear blank with a blue question mark and the image name) and opening them in a new tab the error message appears.

  Is it related to the theme I am using? To the fact that I moved the entire content from wordpress.org to wordpress.com? Is there a solution?

  I am getting this error as well. The images were working previously, but now certain images won’t show on the site. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern to it. My site is burningriverkubb.com you can see one of my missing images on http://burningriverkubb.com/about/

  I’m having this issue as well. Same problems, missing images, Error 0004. Is this related to Jetpack?

  My images started working again at some point. I don’t know why. I don’t think there was any updates.

  Hello!

  Sorry we missed your initial post from a few weeks ago. I’ve had a look at your site now and the broken images are still pointing to the old blog.

  For example, the Great Ocean Road Victoria image link is this:

  

  That’s not going to work because the same image on the new blog is at:

  

  This typically happens when image links are hard-coded into the site and when the blog is moved the links stay the same. You’ll need to update those links manually by opening the posts for editing and then inserting the image again.
