    I did not authorize to be billed for this again. In fact, I have REPEATEDLY asked you all to put a stop to this billing!

    If you want Staff to investigate you must provide specifics.

    What is the URL of the domain?
    Which wordpress.COM plan did you purchase?
    Which wordpress.COM site did you purchase it for?

    Did you carry through and you use the appropriate process found here at Canceling and Refunding Purchases https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchases to cancel and request a refund?

    Did you also cancel auto-renew https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew?

    Canceling and refunding purchases
    There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
    • WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
    • The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
    • It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.

    Canceling domains
    It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also, note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.

    Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.ORG account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

  • Hi there,

    The Premium Plan on your account that renewed yesterday was purchased a year ago on 21 September. There are no prior support requests in your account where you requested to cancel that upgrade, or to disable automatic renewal. Based on the logs for your account you also never performed those actions yourself via the Purchases page.

    We offer a full refund on all upgrades if you contact us within 30 days, but in this case it appears that you also disputed the charge with your bank. When you dispute a charge you are essentially accusing us of fraud, and the payment is frozen pending an investigation. Additionally, your site is locked pending payment of a chargeback fee.     If you are willing to cancel the dispute with your bank we might still be able to refund you ourselves. Otherwise you will need to wait for our payment processor to complete their investigation, which could take eight to twelve weeks.
