  Hi team, need help please. I was updating my website then I came up with the following error and it won’t let me get back into wp-admin also. Here is the error when trying to access my website ainanotoa.com

  Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘$value’ (T_VARIABLE) in /home2/aina/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/vendor/aws/aws-sdk-php/src/functions.php on line 36

  Hi team, thank you – Im new at this. You are saying that because Hostgator hosts my website you are unable to assist me with my error?

  Yes. This forum assists with free sites hosted at WordPress.com. Your site will be using the WordPress.org software which has many differences to how things work here at WordPress.com (ie: due to the managed environment here most sites can’t install their own plugins at all).
