  Hi I’m trying to use blank canvas theme and it says ‘unable to activate theme’?

  The site I need help with is box2269.temp.domains/~heworld9. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

  Hi there,

  Can you tell us how exactly you’re trying to add the theme?

  Are you using the WordPress.com theme showcase via Jetpack at My Site ->Appearance ->Themes, or from the theme showcase in WP-Admin? If you’ve only tried the one way, please check if it helps to use the other.

  If neither method works, try downloading the theme from https://wordpress.org/themes/blank-canvas/, and then uploading it from WP-Admin instead.

  Also note for future reference that you can find the forums for the self-hosted version of this theme at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/blank-canvas/, but we can continue helping you here for now.

  Thank you. didn’t see this, but got the mail today telling me the message was sent.

  Still figuring this whole little world out. Lots to learn :)
