Error 22

    We can no longer access our WordPress site https://fortuna-villa.com and status ‘Error 22’ keeps appearing when attempting to visit the site. I have contacted Bluehost and Go Daddy and neither can help. The DNS server seems to have been transferred from a company called ‘incapsula’ > ‘Imperva’ over the Christmas break and the website has stopped working. We haven’t made any changes and it was operational before the holidays.

    Hi there:

    You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    If your DNS settings have changed, you would need to switch them back to what they should be by editing your DNS settings at your domain registrar. Looking at your domain WHOIS, it looks like you have A records set that point to Incapsula IP addresses:

    A fortuna-villa.com 107.154.147.216
    A fortuna-villa.com 45.60.97.216

    Removing those should resolve the issue, but you would need to wait for those changes to propagate across the internet which can take up to 48 hours to complete.

    Otherwise, you would need to keep working with GoDaddy (your domain registrar) and Bluehost (your hosting provider) to resolve this issue. Then you should update your login information for your domain if you didn’t authorize those changes.
