Error 400

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I’m having a lot of error 400 messages whenever I try to manage comments, access site stats, etc.

    ¿Anybody else is experimenting this?

¿What do I have to do to be able to get control over my blog again?

    Kind regards,

    Miguel

    Often a browser problem

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    What browser are you using?

HTTP Error 400 Bad request – The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the data stream sent by the client e.g. your Web browser was ‘malformed’ i.e. did not respect the HTTP protocol completely. So the Web server was unable to understand the request and process it. Frequently, this is because of a problem on the client system e.g. there is something unstable on your computer running the web browser.

    What is your operating system?
    1. Have you had any recent updates to it?
    2. Has your security program and/or firewalls been updated recently?
    3. Have you recently scanned your computer for viruses, malware, etc.?
    4. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com?
    5. Which browser and version of it are you using?

    Have you tried any troubleshooting?

Thanks for your answers so far.

I’ll try to install next version of Firefox and see if the problem persists. If so, I’ll connect from another computer.

Thanks again, I’ll be back soon to tell how it worked out.

That sounds like a good plan. I hope it does work for you.

    Hi timethief, hi dlager!

Re-installing Firefox wouldn’t do it, so I changed to another computer. Before I discovered a sort of spyware trying to get through the firewall.

With the second computer there is no problem. Easy access.

I will localize the spyware, delete it and then reínstall Firefox again in the first computer. The funny thing is that the program that wants to use my computer also is able to hide the messages from the Firewall. I found them, in the log. The program identifies as ‘walaking008.dll’, just for information.

Thanks for your help. I should have thought before trying with another computer, but I remained to confident in the firewall.

Whatever you need, sombrasbaul is your home.

    THX!!!
