Error 400 in iphone app
-
On my iphone app I just had an error message 400 , which ‘probably means you have some special configuration that is not compatible with this app. Please let us know in the forums about it.’
Nothing has changed in the last few days – no changes to twitter or wordpress apps. It didn’t go away when I closed the app. Baffled! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
If you’re interested, you can get help directly in the iOS app forums at this link: http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/
However, I’d be happy to help you here, as well! Can you let me know when you get this error message? Does it pop up when you first open the app or does it appear after going to a specific part of the app?
Also, can you confirm what version of iOS and what version of the WordPress app you are using? Thanks!

Thanks; the message comes up when I go to Comments, Pages or Posts, but not Stats. The App is version 3.8.3, iOS version 7.0.3

Hi there,
Thanks for that additional information! Just to check, does this only happen for your blog at thelochsidepress.com or does it happen with other blogs you have in the WordPress app?
If you don’t mind, I’d like to try removing the blog from the app and re-adding it, in case it’s a glitch there.
To remove the blog from the app, you can go to Settings in the menu. Touch the Edit button in the upper left, touch the red circle next to your blog, and then click the Remove button.
Then, click on Add a Site (under your list of sites on the Settings page). On the next page, click on “Add WordPress.com Site.” Then, click on your blog’s name and then “Add Selected.”
Can you let me know if you still see that error message after re-adding your blog?

Great, I’m glad that worked for you! :) If any errors pop up again, feel free to get in touch here or in the iOS app support forums. Happy blogging!
