error 404

  My “Home” site shows error 404 and I have tried everything you suggest – no luck..
  If you could just delete that complete tab (I don´t need a home-tab) I would be very grateful to you. I have spent quite some hours trying to figure this out…

  Also: some of my followers are not able to sign up to “follow my blog” (to old, insecure…) – is there a way I can sign them up, instead? They begged me to do this for them…

  Hi Iris,

  It looks like you still need to select the page you want to use as your homepage on your site. You can do this via the drop-down menu on your Settings -> Reading page:
  https://irisaustere.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  As for adding subscribers to your blog yourself, that isn’t possible at this time. Your followers should be able to sign up by inserting their email addresses into the “Follow” button that appears on the lower right-hand corner of your page. Once they’ve inserted their email address, we’ll send them a confirmation email with a link they’ll have to click on to confirm their subscription.

  After that, they’ll be all set! If any of your followers have a hard time getting this set up, please feel free to have them get in touch with us :)
