Error 404 not found for embedded video

  Hi,
  I am new to wordpress and am facing a peculiar situation…

  I am making a website and it is almost complete…just that no one sees it yet have kept a password on the main page to access…so only I can see the published website…
  Now when am embedding a video from vimeo in about section and parallely i check the preview…it works perfectly fine…but when i log off from my admin word press and check the website…it first asks for my access password and then in about section section it shows “error 404 not found”…

  will appreciate any help…
