Error 404 when reading blog from some places

    Today I found a way to “patch” the problem with non-Latin URL. I tend to think this will “workaround” the issue, but still the bug remains, IMHO.

    From the first comment to the post referred in the above-posted link:

    in the wp-admin section, go to Options -> Permlinks and select: Custom, specify below and in the field Custom structure I use: /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%post_id%
    It is also nice and since it uses only digits it is error free. Yes, it does not look as nice, but you don’t have to slug and it will fix all post links.
    The only problem I have found is that all old references to posts with the title in the url are not valid anymore. But if you change it when you start, you can write in chinese if you want :)

    That’s for WordPress software. Please always read the threads that you post in. As stated above, we’re running a different codebase here called WordPress Multiuser and your instructions don’t work on what we have here. We don’t have Options -> Permlinks.
