error 404 won't budge from my front page–tried everything–what to do?

  Hello Support! Please help–I’ve done everything possible to remove error 404 from my blog, but alas, it just doesn’t budge. Could someone kindly help me, your support will be very much appreciated–Thank You!

  You deleted the placeholder Hello World post and that resulted in a 404 (page not found) error message will appear http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ but as soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear.
