Error 500
-
Hi,
I have a business plan with my website hosted on WordPress.com. Yesterday, I was trying to optimize my website using the plugin Autoptimize. This morning, I found the entire site down with the following message:
‘Error 500
The server encountered a syntax error, and could not complete your request.
Website owner? check your code, and your debug log, you may find a ‘parse’ error in there.
Visitor? Try and reload it in a few minutes.’I deactivated the plug in but nothing has changed. Can you please check and let me if the problem was due to the plug in or not? and how should I deal with that?
I did searches online and on the wordpress forum. It seems that all solutions (proposed online) revolve around having FTP which I don’t have access to given my site is hosted on WordPress.com
I would appreciate your rapid response
