Error 500 and no access to my site

    I was in the middle of downloading a new theme and then the error 500 message came up and I cant get into my website. I am a real beginner to websites and have no idea what to do or what half the language means that you guys talk about. Sent wordpress a message and get a reply that they will reply in about two days. Any advice a newbe would understand
