  I’m having the same problem and it’s still ongoing for me, affecting blavatskytheosophy.wordpress.com and secretdoctrine.wordpress.com. It prevents me from both seeing the site when I’m logged out of WordPress and editing the site in any way (which I was trying to do) when logged in.

  I can confirm this. The german WordPress.com forum at http://de.forums.wordpress.com returns a HTTP 504 error when trying to open it.

  I’m using Firefox 22.0 on Ubuntu 12.04. I’m located in Germany and my ISP is T-Online in case this helps.

  Btw. I’ve added the modlook tag to this discussion as I’m seeing more topics in the forum dealing with the same issue.

  Hmm, strange. Just tested it again, and now it’s working again. Maybe it was just a hiccup. Let’s see how this develops. :)

  Please see the sticky note at the top of the forum. This is not a WordPress specific issue, according to the note. It is a local domain server that is having the problem. Your sites are visible to everyone not on that server, which is most of the world. :D

  The sticky thread refers to an issue in the UK only. This is WP-wide.

  It could be related if what they’re doing is moving what they’ve got on those servers to new servers, in which case there might be a short outage for everyone.

  I gather that the reason the UK issue popped up is that the UK courts insist ISPs block sites with porn, torrents, and a host of other things. Some of those servers are also used by WP.com, hence the issue. Hence the need to get off those servers or wave goodbye to the UK.
