Error 504

  When I try to share my blog on Facebook, I get an error 504 message. What do I need to do? My blog name is http://www.livinginthespirit.net.

  Hi Donna,

  It looks like your Publicize connection is working; it sounds like what you’re referring to is what readers see when they click the Share button on a post:

  

  This issue is related to your homepage specifically. You’ll notice, on your “Sinner’s Prayer” page the sharing function works just fine:

  

  When I looked at your blog’s settings, I see that you have it set to a static front page, but with no front page set. This is what’s causing the timeout, as Facebook is timing out trying to find what page it’s on.

  Since you’re using your home page for your posts, you’ll be better served to choose the “latest” posts option instead. This should clear up the Facebook error.
