Error accessing dashboard, get the admin to invite you? I am the admin.

Had this little joy pop up today whilst trying to reconnect Messenger Connect. It’s happened for the past two days now.
It’s particularly frustrating seeing as the task I want to accomplish seems relatively simple. I’ve looked at the Support page, and they’re now only offering support to people with paid upgrades. Please help me resolve this issue.

Were you trying to reconnect from Settings -> Sharing in your blog’s Dashboard? If not, would you please try from there?

Thank you- problem fixed, although I do have to repeat the operation every time I update a post, which probably means it’s not fixed.

The problem persists. I reconnect via the Settings -> Sharing link, then update any post I wish to push to Messenger Connect, and have to repeat the operation after the task has supposedly completed. I am navigated back to the page I was on, and the ‘To enable Publicize: Messenger Connect, you will need to authorize your WordPress.com account on Navigating Cyberloss: a place to share your grief to connect with your Messenger Connect account.’ message comes up…I authorise it, and I’m back in the same place. Please help.
