Error after install (The file 'wp-config.php' already exists)
-
Hello, i just installed wordpress on my server in an attempt to start a site with it. For some reason i could never get too familiar with it.
The install went very smooth, but if i try to access the site, i get this error:
The file ‘wp-config.php’ already exists. If you need to reset any of the configuration items in this file, please delete it first. You may try installing now.
The Admin control panel works allright though. What is the reason that this doesnt work out of the box?
Would someone be kind enough in helping me figure out wordpress for a short while till i can figure it out? I seek to create a picture gallery with old pictures of my town. Thanks in advance ! :)

Update: This only seems to happen on my live server. On local host it seems to work Fine.
