ERROR: atom is not a valid feed template

When checking my Atom feed (http://www.technomad.be/blog/feed/atom/) I get

“ERROR: atom is not a valid feed template”.
–> I did enable the atom protocol in admin – settings – writing.

When trying to validate the atom feed in W3C, I get

“Server returned HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error”
–> All other feeds work fine and validate ok.

    http://www.technomad.be/blog/wp-includes/feed-atom.php
–> gives: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_option() in /home/web/standard/www.technomad.be/www/blog/wp-includes/feed-atom.php on line 8.

Could this have something to do with my blog being written in dutch and using some special characters like ç,è,à and é? Can this cause a HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error?!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
