Error code
-
Hello,
I have been attempting to create a donation form on my page, but have been running into an error. I believe the error code was 815 or something similar, though when I have been attempting the last couple times (in order to copy the error code) the error disappears faster than I can grab it.I also have been trying to find our error log per the website’s directions so I can track what is happening, but I am having trouble finding that. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

I understand you’ve been facing a problem while trying to set up a donation form on your WordPress page. I apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing and I’m glad to guide you to the best of my abilities.
One thing to know up front is our ability to help is a bit more limited because your site is not hosted directly with WordPress.com, our managed hosting. We can only investigate issues on sites we directly host which is why I’ll guide you to forums with more specialized support. You can learn more about our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
If you are interested, we have an easy-to-use migration plugin that you can use to move your website to our hosting. Here, you would be able to leverage our full support on such issues. Migrating a page is not a small decision but our plugin will help make the move as effortless as possible. It’s an option worth considering if you would prefer to have our team in your corner for these types of issues.
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. As you’re using the open-source version of WordPress software, which requires a different kind of expertise, I would like to direct you towards the community support forums. This forum is built around assisting people who use the version of WordPress that your host uses. The community there is very active and knowledgeable. They should be able to assist you with this issue or any other you may encounter. You can find these forums here:

I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding our managed hosting or the migration process.
