Error code 502. (importing)

  I attempted to import a template (twice, sorry). The import page shows a ‘still processing’ message more than 24 hours later, and you have sent an email telling me to quote error code 502

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you are referring to a template for a theme then know you will not succeed with importing it into any wordpress.COM hosted blog.

  If that is the case then you are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting. You cannot upload any custom themes or third party themes or create your own theme here at wordpresds.COM. You can do that only on wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.

  There is no FTP access to wordpress.COM hosted blogs like that site linked to your username and no upgrade changes that reality.

  The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

  There is no upgrade you can buy here that changes that.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   For a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
