Error code trying to import travelpod html files into WordPress

  Travelpod recommended WordPress and an alternative to their site which is closing in June. I received all my downloaded files from them and have been trying unsuccessfully to import into a WordPress blog. I keep getting the following error: “This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number. Try another file”. Can you give me instructions that will make this work? Thank you.

  Thank you for your reply. I meant to come back here and reply that I did figure it out. Travelpod is sending us 2 forms of our files and I was using the wrong one to load into WordPress. Good to know for others who may be doing the same thing. Thanks again.
