Error Database Message with Them Updates

Earlier today I had two notifications to install updates. I looked at them but figured I could come back and install later.
What the heck is going on? Whenever I try to access my site I get an error message. I didn’t click on the updates and now I’m freaking out again. I love being self hosted but I’ve had more headaches in the last few days trying to figure out what the next problem could be.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You never ever get that type of notice for a free hosted WordPress.COM blog because Staff do all updates. That’s a reference to a WordPress>ORG install.
On this support forum we provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs. That other site is not a free hosted WordPress com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get help with it. This one is only for free hosted WordPress>COM blog issues. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.

I realized I posted this is the wrong forum last night and went over to the .org site. They fixed it.
