Error establishing a database connection

Hello,
We urgently need help: we have a website published with wordpress.org and hosted on just host, it has been working fine for years and this morning, all of a sudden, we cannot access the site. We keep getting the error message: “Error establishing a database connection”
the site is: http://www.threestoriesofgalicia.com
We are in the middle of a film promotion campaign through this website and timing of this error could not be worse.
We know very little about web, so we could really, really use the help in fixing this.
Does anyone have suggestions?Many thanks!
