Error establishing a database connection
-
Hello sir/madam,
I need help. Our website is down as well as the behind the scenes access.
I needed to create a new wordpress account as I cannot even login, and my email doesnt seem to work anymore.I have 2 theories for this.
1. Recent activity shows that there was quite a bit of logins (800 failed attempts)
2. The Server domains are deleted by the host possibly.I think its the latter, as we switched email, and the old email is registered to the site, I have tried many times to change it to the new email, but I need ‘Confirmation’ by some other account which I never got.
This old email also gets many spam emails as I get them automatically sent to my new email.
Below is what was sent in the email.
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or that contact with the database server at localhost could not be established. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure the database server is running?WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Unknown
Correct account: UnknownThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
