Error establishing a database connection

  Hello,
  I haven’t been on my site for almost half a year but now I am not able to access it anymore. It gives me an ‘Error establishing a database connection’ error and I also cannot see it when I press ‘My Site’. What could be the problem and how can I get back all my materials?

  Your site are not hosted here, on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
