I am receiving this error: ‘Error establishing database connection’ when trying to open my wordpress website.

1. Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache and cookies?
2. What browser are you using?
3. Have you tried using a different browser or device?
4. Are you using wordpress.com, or are you using wordpress.org? -

Thank you for responding. Regarding #1, I have not but I don’t believe that is the issue because the website is down for anyone else trying to view it as well as I had multiple friends try to access the website. #2, I am using google chrome. #3 Yes I’ve tried other browsers as well as my phone and laptop, all experiencing the same error. #4 I believe I am using wordpress.org.

I visited the site at https://spaces.ucsd.edu/ just now and I was able to view it without any issues. Are you still having trouble viewing the site? If you are, it’s possible the issue is intermittent.
