Error: file size upload limitation

  Hi WP,

  I tried to upload a 53MB file, and looks like 50 is the limit. Can you please change to 100MB?

  As long as it is an accepted file type there should be no problem with a 53MB file here at WordPress.com unless you’d reached the limit of your storage space. Perhaps your site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com. What is the full address of your site?

  Hi there,

  The WordPress.com media library can comfortably handle file uploads up to 1GB in size. An upload will time out due to your internet connection before it will time out due to any limits on our end.

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead – you’ll likely need to make changes to the config.php file on your server to increase the upload limits.
