Error from last API Key attempt

    Hello,

    I get following error message when I will use the wordpress.com stats plugin:

    Error from last API Key attempt:

    The owner of that API Key (XXXXXXXX) is not on the access list for this blog (XXXXXXX). To be added to the access list, you must contact support.

    With my new created account I get these error message too.
    Hope you can help me… the contact support didn´t answered me.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Support Staff are busy people and it’s not uncommon to have to patiently wait for them to answer your support request.

    I had a similar problem, first I would add the plugin “WP.com popular Post” turns before having to install “WP.com Stats”. API Key needed to WP.com Stats can be worked, after I make accound and login to wp.com then insert into the plugin API key stats and then it says

    The error means that the site already has been tied to a WordPress.com account in the past.

    You either need to use the original API key from the account it was associated with or change the association to the new account by following this guide:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/api-keys/#changing-the-api-key-used-for-stats
