Error in base code – DETAILS link
-
Hello, seems when someone was editing the site they messed up the positioning code for the details link, top left in the edit page.
Just along from the big orange + block selector.
It now display too far right so that it is not fully readable. It’s been out for 4 days now, surprised no one else has mentioned it.
Cheers

Hey there p, could you send a link to the affected page? I’ve skimmed several looking for details link to no avail. I’d be grateful to get this reported, though!

Ahhh, now you have me there.
Can you tell me how to send you a link to my edit page please, then I can~
Cheers

Actually they say a picture is worth a dozen words, maybe that helps?
You can find it in my media file – uploaded today a few seconds ago.

Hello there,
Many thanks for providing that screenshot.
I’ve taken a look at the homepage, and I can’t seem to replicate that – is this happening on a specific page or all of them?
Also, what browser are you using in that screenshot there?
-
Why would you be looking at the home page when I have said the fault is in my edit page?
TWICE!!
That makes no sense.Surely it is clearly obvious from the screen shot what I mean and where it happens
Look, send me the damned code to your site and I can fix it myself!

You don’t have access to the system files on the wordpress.com platform as wordpress.com is a shared environment.

Hello there,
Why would you be looking at the home page when I have said the fault is in my edit page?
Rest assured I can see what the screenshot is referring to.
Can you tell me which page you’re editing, whereby you’re seeing this please? I’d like to determine if this is page specific.
Look, send me the damned code to your site and I can fix it myself!
As above – You don’t have access to the system files on the wordpress.com platform as wordpress.com is a shared environment.
Also, I don’t think this is theme specific, it could be related to the browser and/or the specific page.
