Error in date/hour/place
-
Hello!
My blog has a problem with the date/hour of the post. When i post, appear like that: “Posted by MATHEUS MELLO em 8 08AMERICA/SAO_PAULO MARÇO 08AMERICA/SAO_PAULO 2017”
maybe the correct is “Posted by MATHEUS MELLO em Sao Paulo, 08 de março de 2017” or something like that, how can i fix it? I’ve tested with another citys like NY and the error persists.

Hi @ultimathblog,
Have you tried experimenting with the date and time formats?
Read more about it here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/time-settings/ -
I can also see that this problem appears in the widget at the bottom of the page, called POSTS RECENTES. To remove the funny looking dates, go to your wp-admin panel, and click Appearance > Widgets. Click the Recent Posts widget in the top, right corner to edit it. There is a choice there for Display post date?. Uncheck this, and save. It will not fix the funny post format, but at least it will remove it.

Hi @ultimathblog!
The issue is in the custom date format you have set at:
https://metagalaxia.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.phpRight now, you have this format set:
j de F de YThe two de entries are causing the problem. In PHP date formatting, a d is the two digit day (09 for the 9th of the month). e is your Timezone identifier (AMERICA/SAO_PAULO)
There isn’t a code to trim your timezone identifier down to just Sao Paulo since it’s time zone based, not city based.
You can use the abbreviations on this page to customize the date format, but inserting words like de won’t work, because they get interpreted as formatting code.
