Error in my registerform
-
Hi, I just registered at WordPress with the domain wordsbyshoe.com. Unfortuneately, I registered by mistake wordsbyshoe.co……, I left out the “m” in .com, by mistake. Is there anyway you can chance that or must I delete and register again.

Hi Susanne,
The domain wordsbyshoe.com isn’t available because it’s already registered by someone else. Would you like to stick with wordsbyshoe.co in that case? It looks like wordsbyshoe.net and wordsbyshoe.org are also available if you’d rather have one of those. Just let me know!

Hi.
Thank you for your quick response.
Before I registered at WordPress I bought the domain wordsbyshoe.com, due to the fact that it was available. I thought I had to by a domain first before registering, so if its occupied it must be by me. Now what to do??
I am new at this so I hope you can help me through. :) -

Hi Susanne,
If you own that domain, you can map it here! To do that, you have to change your domain’s name servers to point to WordPress.com as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domainYou’ll need to do that with your registrar, Joker.com. If you have any trouble with it, their support will be able to help you.
In the meantime, I’ve canceled and refunded the domain you purchased accidentally. You can purchase mapping for your correct domain the same way you did before; it will be $13.00 per year.
Let me know if you still have any trouble!

Hi
Thank you. I have now changed my nameservers and got the MX record that I also have to chance.
But in wordspress admin, I dont see the “edit” button beside my domain. It just says “N/A” So how do I change it then? -
Awesome! Now you just need to add the mapping.
Go here:
https://wordsbyshoe.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=search_formAdd your domain and follow the prompts. The mapping will be $13/year.
Once you’ve added it, you’ll see the edit link and can add your MX records. Let me know if you need help with that. :)

OK, I added the mapping and made the payment, and also I can se the edit button. So far so good :)
Now I just have trouble getting the system to accept the MX record.I got this from from my support:
“Your MX record should point to mail22.unoeuro.com and the IP adress for the server is (94.231.103.30)”I have tried to put it in but I´m still doing something wrong… it wont accept any of my attempts. So one more hint then hopefully I´m on my way :)
Thank you. -
Hi there,
I’ve added the following for you:
A mail 94.231.103.30
MX 10 mail22.unoeuro.com.If those don’t work in a few hours, please contact their support again and ask them if those are the full and exact records you need. For one thing, your MX record needs a priority (where I’ve entered 10) and the A record needs a subdomain (where I’ve entered mail).

Wonderful! If you’re still not sure, you can try sending and receiving from a second email account just to test. :)
Let me know if you need anything else!
